This fully-automatic form-insert-seal 3-in-1 case packing system is specifically designed for cartoning stand-up pouches or lay flat bags according to preset packing patterns. The machine integrates case forming, product loading, and sealing into a single compact unit. It processes fold-flat carton blanks by erecting and bottom-sealing them, conveys them to the loading station, picks stand-up pouches from the infeed conveyor, inserts them into the cases from the top, and finally seals the tops. This monoblock carton packaging machine streamlines packaging operations while minimizing floor space requirements, making it ideal for production lines seeking efficient automation.
A delta robot (ABB IRB 360 FlexPicker) is employed for picking and inserting filled pouches into cases. ABB IRB 360 FlexPicker is capable of the fastest picking applications and have been optimized for packing applications. The robot has outstanding motion performance with the shortest cycle times, precision accuracy for payloads from 1 to 8 kg.
